MFS TNR GRANT APPLICATION PROCESS

Maryland Feline Society, Inc., has grants in the amount of $500 each available for Trap-Neuter-Return projects in Maryland.  This grant money is dependent upon our budget. Preference is given to groups or persons working on a particular geographical area since there will be more impact on the cat population this way.

  1. When is the grant application period?

March 1-July 1.  This will allow the board of directors to consider grant applications at the July board meeting along with the budget for the current year.

  1. Who will decide on grant recipients?

MFS Board of Directors will make recommendations and report to the membership at the August meeting, where the budget will be voted on along with the grant recipients.

  1. When are grant allocation reports due?

By the end of March of the following year in writing to our P. O. Box.  The Corresponding Secretary will retain the reports and applications. Reports must be received by March 31 of the following year, whether or not the grant has been depleted.  Failure to report may affect future grants.

  1. Where will the applications and report forms be available?

Click to go to the Application Form or the Report On Allocation Form or request by email or mail a request.

As of March 13, 2011
